Eskerwijn has once again won numerous awards!
This year, we once again entered Eskerwijn in the Netherlands and Belgium Wine Competition, and the result has both surprised and filled us with pride.
Of the five wines we submitted this year, we won no fewer than three gold and two silver medals.
Gold for:
Esker White Chardonnay Barrique 2025
Esker White Cabernet Blanc 2025
Esker White Souvignier Gris 2025
Silver for:
Esker Red Cabaret Noir 2025
Esker Red Pinot Noir Barrique 2024
This means that all five wines we entered have won awards. We are absolutely delighted with this result, especially as we strive every year to further improve both our wines and the way we work. And that seems to be paying off – both literally and figuratively.

As if three gold and two silver medals weren’t enough, we also received three special honours this year.
Our Cabernet Blanc ranks among the four best dry white wines in the Netherlands and Belgium
Our Chardonnay Barrique ranks among the four best exclusive dry white wines in the Netherlands and Belgium
Furthermore, Eskerwijn ranks among the four best vineyard owners of 2026 in the Netherlands and Belgium
We perhaps consider that last one to be the finest compliment of all. Because, in our view, good wine begins in the vineyard.
Proud… but above all, very grateful
Of course, we haven’t achieved these results on our own. We are incredibly grateful to the people around us who, with their knowledge, experience and expertise, help us to keep developing Eskerwijn.
And, of course, we are especially grateful to everyone who drinks our wines, visits us, buys a bottle or has encouraged us over the past few years.
