The first harvest is a fact! On 22 September, we had already harvested the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. On 17 October, the Cabernet Blanc and Riesling grapes were also brought to Bentelo in crates, where they go directly into the press through a conveyor belt. A thin cloth is used to squeeze only the juice from the grapes, after which the juice goes into the tank to ferment. We then hope to receive an invitation to come and taste for the first time sometime in January. Exciting!
