Our first red wine has been bottled!

The time has finally come: our first red wine is being bottled. A 100% Pinot Noir, for which we have high expectations. Although the Pinot Noir grape isn’t particularly well-suited to the Dutch climate, we decided to plant it all the same. It was quite a challenge to keep this grape healthy and allow it to ripen properly, but we succeeded – and how! It has turned out to be a delicious red wine, with fruity notes of cherry and redcurrant. A year’s ageing in oak has given this wine a subtle spiciness and a smooth texture. It pairs perfectly with red meat, salmon and mild cheeses. Here’s to this first release!
